Nobody knows this better than Sharon Ostler. Sharon enjoyed a successful career for many years as the broker/owner of a boutique real estate firm specializing in luxury properties on Lake Keowee in upstate South Carolina before love and marriage lured her away from the area to begin a new chapter in her life. While she left real estate behind in the transition to city life, she never lost her desire to find that special something that would open the door once again to selling property in the Carolinas.
While casually perusing Redfin one day in 2021, a particular home caught her eye and she had an overwhelming urge to pursue it. A quick drive over from Charlotte sealed the deal.... and the rest is history.
A “lifestyle” realtor, Sharon loves to sell properties that resonate with how people want to live-- not just the house they want to buy. The Upstate offers so many options when it comes to small towns, golf communities, mountains, lakes and natural surroundings; all of them have their own allure while remaining in close proximity to all that the Upstate has to offer.
Sharon’s effervescence lends a decided charm to the house-hunting process, and her keen business savvy – gleaned during her career as a corporate executive and entrepreneur – brings competent efficiency to negotiations and contractual proceedings. Living and working on the outskirts of the big city is a dream come true for this Virginia girl, who spent many a childhood hour fishing – or sometimes simply daydreaming – at her family’s pond. Being close to water and nature are top priorities when it comes to finding a place for her to call home because of the peace and serenity that comes along with them. Today, it’s the peace and serenity of the beautiful mountains that she likes passing along to her clients.
